Guest guest
Hello all , My name is chris ,28 yrs old and was diagnosed with Afib last year before exiting from the service.I am currently being treated by the VA here in southern Arizona.I am very frustrated with an incident I had recently, bear with me while I get long winded. In OCT of this year(2003) I had to go to court for a child support hearing.I recently lost my job and totalled my vehicle,I have lost my license due to the vehicle accident.I live 6 miles out of the city limits on a state highway. My attorney was trying to get the judge to understand that I have medical problems .I told the judge I wasnt working due to not having a consistent means of transportation. He told me I was in pretty good shape and requested I ride a bicycle into town everyday for work. The 6 miles is just to the city limits and the road is highly traveled with no bike path.So I would be sharing the roadway with vehicles.I have lost my license due to the vehicle accident I had. I personally dont think the judge understands my health condition. It is as follows: COMBINED EVALUATION FOR COMPENSATION 80%(BREAKDOWN LISTED BELOW) 60% for sustained Atrial Fibrillation with Right Bundle Branch block,Left Ventricular Hypertrophy,Apical Septal Defect, and Reduced Left Ventricular Ejection Fraction(35-40%) 30%for Generalized Anxiety Disorder 10% Internal Derangement of Right Knee 10% Tinnitus I am also on a large supply of medications as well: 1)BUPROPION 75MG; 2 TABLETS 2X DAILY 2)GEMFIBROZIL 600MG; 1 TABLET 2X DAILY 3)WARFARIN 5MG; 1 TABLET EVERY EVENING 4)CARVEDILOL 12.5MG; 1 TABLET 2X DAILY 5)PROPAFENONE 150MG; 1.5 TABLETS 3X DAILY 6)SIMVASTATIN 20MG; .5 TABLET EVERY EVENING 7)LISINOPRIL 10MG; 1 TABLET EVERY DAY Just on what I have listed, do you think the judge was justified in his request? He said I am a healthy " LOOKING " young man......even when he had my medical records in his hand!!!!!!!!!!! Also Does anyone think what I have listed warrants me applying for social security disability? I can be contacted at c_e_r_75@... for any input.
