Guest guest
Congratulations, ! This is your body's response to ridding itself of all of the bad stuff you've been feeding it...sugar, white flour, caffeine. You will probably feel better in 24 hours and will be pleasantly surprised to notice that your cravings have disappeared. Today, drink lots of water and eat frequent snacks. I found that cheese sticks and sugar-free Jello really helped me out on the day when I felt bad (it was day 3 or 4 and passed quickly. It was worth it). Best of luck, don't give up and remember that this, too, shall pass. Florie Gray feeling really bad in my first week-normal? I feel kind of like I have the flu, buit I was wondering if this iscaused by being on the diet..I'm dizzy and a bit nauseous. If so, what can I do for this? Do I need more carbs? What kinds? Thanks!Reminder: The South Beach Diet is not low-carb. Nor is it low-fat. The South Beach Diet teaches you to rely on the right carbs and the right fats-the good ones-and enables you to live quite happily without the bad carbs and bad fats. Guest guest
Thanks Florie! This is day 4 for me! I guess I'm not sick after all. I will do as you suggested and ride it out :-) Now for dealing with an active toddler while I feel icky is another story! LOL!
