Question about Grounding

Hi Everyone,

I thought I sent this message but do not see it as going through, so if you end

up getting this question twice I apologize. Has anyone tried a grounding sleep

pad or grounding pad for grounding therapy? I have heard this can help with pain

and that is my husbands biggest problem right now. We have tried just about

everything else and nothing seems to ease his pain. He has been treated for

CCSVI and that gave great benefits except for doing nothing for his pain. Now he

has more energy but his legs can't keep up with him. He wants them amputated

because he thinks if they were gone that would solve the issue (we know that

wouldn't and his doctors refuse). I guess we are desperate enough to try

anything. Just wondering if anyone here has given it a try and if it seemed to

help

Thanks

Amy

Hi Amy

The only thing that helped my severe daily and nightly pain was LDN. Have you

given it a try yet?

It may not have the same affects on your husband as it does on me, but most

people report it as helping them very much.

Thanks everyone for your input. He has tried zinc, magnesium, and many other

supplements without any help. I have heard from others that the grounding pad

really helped with sleep. That used to be a huge issue for him but after

treating CCSVI he went from sleeping 2-3 hrs at the most and then tried to sleep

the rest of the night and couldn't, where after treatment he sleeps all night

without the leg jerking/twitching. So sleep is no longer his issue. Who knows

maybe it will help my sleep some. I heard from a hospice nurse that it really

helped her and a few of her patients with pain, so I am going to give it a try.

He does feel better after walking barefoot outside for awhile, but in MN you

can't do that all year.

Remind me, is LDN something we can get through our doctor? He sees his doctor on

Monday who is into alternative therapies so I can ask him about it. For some

reason I think he tried it years ago but only for a couple of weeks and gave up.

His neurologist told him it wouldn't help and he believed him, but now he is

getting more open minded after having improvements after CCSVI when his

neurologist said it was a scam. Funny how prescriptions couldn't help with

restless leg and sleep, but a procedure worked wonders and got him off 1/2 a

dozen meds. Thanks again for your input. We will see.

Take care,

WOW, Mort, where are your scientific studies to back this? I attended graduate

school in biomedical engineering and what I learned has taught me that it does

work and that it is important.

Being inside of a faraday cage can protect from many forms of radiation. Perhaps

you might read " Body Electric " by Dr. O. Becker, M.D. as well as his

follow up book " Cross Currents " .

Probably one of the worst things that a person can do is submit themselves to a

CAT scan which biomedical engineers often dote on. Even worse is a PET scan.

Both are highly damaging while grounding is completely harmless.
