Try DMSO gel as a topical pain reliver. I used it for pressure sores but now I

use emu oil if I have them. Both helped but the emu oil is skin softening and

the DMSO is drying. The location and reason for the pain makes a difference as

to which would work best.

the outside of my leg to the knee for about 6 weeks. The last weeks or so, the

pain has radiated down to the calf and sides and front of my lower leg. This

morning I woke with it throbbing so bad, I couldn't go to church. I WAS taking

Neurontin but had to stop because it due to water weight gain and bad tremors. I

am taking Tylenol #4 and Baclofen for it, but it barely takes the edge off. It

was SO bad a few nights that I couldn't lay still for the pounding, throbbing

pain and had to go to ER. NO ONE knows what it is.... Have ANY Of you

experienced something like this and what did you use to help, and did you find

out what it was?
