Hi Everyone,

Just an update as to where I am. 21 days out and I've lost 21.5lbs. I

can't believe it!!! No hunger, and no problems with any food yet

although still on the blended diet. I was concerned about not getting

enough protein so I went to GNC and purchased the MET-RX protein

powder that has 46 grams of protein per serving. I figured well

that's great. WRONG!! I didn't realize it at first but it gave me

such diarreah with black and green bowels it scared me to death. The

first time I had the diarreah I just figured that it might be because

I was drinking more skim milk than ever and maybe that was it. After

the 2nd & 3rd time which scared me because of the color, I thought ok

this is it I'm falling apart inside. So I called DR. Reines and

explained what happened. He said that it sounds like malabsorbtion

and that the protein powder was probably too strong,or so highly

concentrated that I wasn't able to absorb it all. So needless to say

he said to lay off the protein powder and just follow the program.

Well it's taken 5 days and it seems like everything is getting back

to normal. THANK GOD. Talk about scared. I guess I'll just have to

get my protein thru just the food or maybe a supplement that has alot

less in it. Anyway looking forward to eating REAL food also!!

As far as my foot, well still have some problem there but I guess

it's just going to take awhile.

F--just wanted to say LOVED your website. Great drawings and

real CUTE girls!! Glad you're doing well enjoy your fish!! LOL

Lyssa, just an update on my laser appt. Saw Dr today and although my

right eye has improved he doesn't recommend anymore surgery. So I

guess I just have to stay where I am visually. It still is alot

better than before. I was -6.75 left and -6.50 in right which is

really bad. Now I'm about -2.25 left and -1.75 in right eye which is

about 20/50 and 20/30. I'll just have to wear glasses for nightime

driving and television. Again I guess I'm just a rare bird. Anyway

I'll bet right now you're very happy with yours. Best of luck to you.

To all the pre-ops it'll be here before you know it and you'll be on

your way down--in a good way!!
