Guest guest
, I think Kerrville/Hunt sounds awesome - BEAUTIFUL country. My late husband, daughter and I spent three days in Kerrville/New Braunfels on Memorial Day weekend 2 years ago. We took lots of pictures. Guest guest
I lived in New Braunfels and Canyon Lake for four years after high school. In fact that is where my husband and I met. Canyon Lake is absolutely beautiful. We stopped there on our way to Georgia a couple of years ago and it is still gorgeous! Guest guest
> I think Kerrville/Hunt sounds awesome - BEAUTIFUL country. It's that Guadelupe river and air! This is a little more quiet than New Braunfels - but your in the right country and river. The river twist and turns through the property - widest section - >250 feet, we supposedly have the smallest section of river in Texas between 18 and 48 inches, depending on time of year, but the constant rapids will lull you to sleep. Holidays are for family only

You now live in California - right? Would you consider moving back? - I hear the area is going to bust at the seams economically. Houses in Austin have taken a hit, but compared to 10yrs ago - you'd grow hair on your chest. San has the lowest cost housing/cost of living in Texas, I read recently. All that will change with the new Toyota Truck Plant and all that it brings in a couple yrs.
