It has helped me ... wonderfully the first time, only semi-wonderfully the 2nd. But I'd not have even investigated it or tried it without your input ... especially since I can't take the other meds available for a-fib. I'm new to this list, but the whole point (as I see it) is to continue to share your experiences good and bad so we can all learn from one another and have a common ground for discussion. As with anything, " take what you like and leave the rest " can apply here ... I would hate for you to stop sharing, as I'd hate for anyone to stop sharing. If it doesn't work for others, fine ... if they have question upon question, fine .... that's what we're here together for, right? So, if you stop sharing about magnesium on the list, send your comments to me privately, OK? I want to hear what you have to say. And thanks to all for the a-fib and flutter information and links ... I'm learning a lot, and that's always good. Toni California

I'd really appreciate that. I have decided to try to find some more holistic ways to deal with this in my case, especially since I can't take any of the meds that are available. Anyone have any guidance how to go about finding such holistic help for a-fib in Southern California (I'm in San Diego). Thanks. Guest guest
Toni, thanks for your thoughts but I don't really have any new information to contribute except for the article I posted yesterday by a Dr. that stated tissue levels of magnesium can be low, while blood levels of magnesium remain in the normal range. This is something I didn't know could occur and may explain why the epsom salt baths work so well for me. I know that the skin is a sponge for most chemicals that it comes in contact with. I can only guess that magnesium is utilized differently from transdermal absorption than it is when taken orally but I have no data to confirm that. But I'll keep looking and will send you anything I find that may be related. Sincerely, Otis Price Albuquerque odprice@...
