I have been on creatine since my neuro recommended it around 2000. It helps tremendously with muscle cramps and pain, but not as much as it used to. I took some prescribed Rx drugs and the side effects messed me up bad. So now the creatine is part of my regimine, but dosen't "stop" the cramping as well as it used to, but it helps.

To answer your other question, it was immediate that the cramping stopped when I first got creatine.

God bless,

Hazelpone,

Thank you so much for telling me about your experiences. Interesting that you say it helped with muscle cramps. I often get muscle cramps during the night and thinking back over the past week of being on the creatine, it does seem that I haven't had as much of a problem with that. I can't say that the muscle pain or weakness has improved though. The muscle pain I get is more of a constant thing during the day and the cramps are intense for a minute or two during the night and then go away. I wonder if it could help one without the other......hmmmm. I will have to keep track of the muscle cramps over the next few weeks to see if they truly are less frequent. I am glad you pointed that out to me b/c I was thinking more of it helping the muscle pain, fatigue, and energy and not paying attention so much to the cramps. Thanks again!
