Guest guest
This is why I never post. Disagree with someone and they say they need to leave. Leave the group if you want to; don't blame me, and I don't feel guilty. It would be a shame if you did leave, but it's your prerogative. But, if you think I'm going to lose sleep because you don't like what I said, thats not the case. You are asserting your right to say what you want- can you do that by saying someone else can't? I was not responding to you- I was talking about people concerned there was *poison* in these foods. There is no *poison*. There may be substances that some people feel better without, but there is no *poison*. I was NOT talking about food intolerances, or trying to criticise anyone who finds that something works for them. I never said anything of the kind. I have no hidden agenda, no hidden message- and to be honest, my message was completely grounded in fact and said nothing about you, your post, or your problems. Relax, for pete's sake. Don't jump on others, making stress for both for no bloody reason. Bethann Back to being a second class human cause she dared to have an opinion. Guest guest
Yeah, well the way you go about responding sometimes looks an awful lot like a personal attack. Might want to think about that--- BTW, weren't you the one who started the group Fibro_Understanding because you didn't like what someone else in this very group said? I know when we're not feeling good it's easy to be a bit cranky, but even that has it's limits, and most people learn from thier experience instead of repeating it over and over. Hope you're feeling better soon. No one said you could not 'assert your right to say what you want'. And it's ok if you don't agree with someone else. But feeling ill or not, it's downright rude to say it in a way which conveys condescention and belittling of another person. Post away! But be nice, because attacks and rudeness makes us ALL turn cranky. About the people concerned that there was 'poison' in nightshades: just because it's not 'poison' to you does not mean it isn't to someone else. It would be like me demanding you have your spleen removed immediately because I did. Makes no sense and is untrue. " Don't jump on others, making stress for both for no bloody reason. " And if you want to term yourself a " second class human " , " it's your prerogative. But, if you think I'm going to lose sleep because you don't like what I said, thats not the case " . That argument is getting pretty old, too. LCB In Fibromyalgia_Support_Group , B wrote: > > This is why I never post. > > Disagree with someone and they say they need to leave. Guest guest
Yes, fibromyalgia is a problem we all share, but our physical responses to what works and what doesn't are highly individualised. What works beautifully for one of us may make another of us worse. That's one of the reasons why it's so hard for doctors to treat us. There's no standard medication, diet, supplement, herb or exercise program that works the same for any two of us. Everytime a doctor gets a new fibro pt. they basically have to start from scratch and trial and error on what will help. Many doctors are not that patient, because it's very frustrating. But I like to hear what works for other people. It gives me the option of something new to try, to see if it will help me as well. We all do. It's part of the *hope* that keeps us going!
