Guest guest
I have a general question... Does Type 2 contribute to being tired all the time? I just seem to be tired all the time. My thyroid is fine. I feel tired in my whole body. Arms, legs, everywhere. Its as if I have sludge running thru my veins. I am newly diagnosed and my sugar levels are not extreme. I am not on any meds. Thanks for the input. Happy Saturday! Jan
Guest guest
YES! this is how I felt for a very long time. I didn't have extreme glucose issues either, but I felt the same exact way. Now that I have started working out, yes I had to force myself for a while, I feel great! I eat well, and my sugars are under control! I have tons of energy. Yes there are still days when I feel like poop, but that is part of being human! Hi Jan, I can go shopping all afternoon, then come home, work in the yard or do housework for several hours. The only time I get tired is when I sit around for several hours doing nothing. When I feel this way, I go for a walk and all my energy is back to normal. hugs Eunice
Guest guest
I felt the same way. Started a walking routine and my energy level is higher. When I back off from the walking routine, the tiredness and lack of interest in doing anything returns. Guest guest
Hi Jan: That's a tough question, especially since you are not on any meds. I'd go see a doctor about my tiredness if I were not on meds and feeling as you describe. I am tired most of the time myself and fall asleep easily. But then I'm on 4 different blood pressure medicines as well as diabetic meds. I can't really say how much or if diabetes contributes to chronic tiredness.
