Guest guest
As many of you may know, I have had to wait til Monday from last week for some test (MRI) results. Neck and head. I knew though that they were also testing for multiple sclerosis. Like they do a bunch of us Chiarians. So, I got impatient, and called the nurse today and said I just could not wait too much longer for these results, at least tell me if I have MS. She said no, but there are " other problems " so the Dr. will have to go over them with you on the phone Mon. eve. in which he may want to bring you in. She alluded that these problems were more in the neck and other complaints that I suffer with there. But I am not completely certain of what the Dr. is needing to take to me about. She said he will need to go over the films very careful himself. He likes to look at them and not just the radiologist report. I like that. I wondered if there was some surgery in the future for me. It is like something needs to get straight in there. I don't know where - starts at the back of my head and goes down to my shoulder blades. I just can not feel well, and I do not want to go along all the symptoms as I have told them before. But, mainly fatigue, pain, headaches, unclear thoughts, visual problems and an unsteadiness on my feet. My hands and arms and feet were numb all day today with those sharp electrical feelings. I hate when it does that. I have had already a very long 6 hour surgery to fix C3-7. 3 discs gone and cadaver bones. Metal plates and the whole fusion thing with that. It seems to have worked out for about 3 years now. So, I have focused on my " mild " chiari. That is what they always seem to say. It is mild. I am at the point to demand, well what can you do for me then? Always waiting for God's Will. I have decided to take the nurses news that there is NO MULTIPLE SCLEROSIS indicated by the radiologist for today as a prize. Jumping up and down if I could. Trying to be careful :-) ( I have been told twice this year that I may have this) Praise God that I do not. I may not know the whole story until Mon. afternoon, and then Wed. for the real appointment and check up. But, I have been handed some peace back today. This is such a relief. Thought you guys might like to rejoice with me on that. The staff at my new Drs. office seems so nice. I hope they can help me with the other problems. Still don't know if there are more discs out or further stenosis or some herniated discs or some more progression with the ACM or syrinx. But, I do not have MS! Thank you for all of your prayers, keep it up, it is working, The Love of Christ to you all, I'll keep you posted and tell what the Drs. say, I hope this helps some who are going through similar problems, in Ala. ACM-1, spinal stenosis, spinal fusion C3-7 1997, dysautonomia, looking for answers. ________________________________________________________________ GET INTERNET ACCESS FROM JUNO!
