Guest guest
Well, I think I'll hit the old messages to see how everyone is doing now!!! , you really must lay down some ground rules with the mother in law. She just must not pick on your little girl. How sad! Grandma's are for hugs! Tell her if she cant say anything nice, shut up! Anyway, I know it's not my business, but if you dont put a stop to it and dole out the chores, the madness has only just begun!!!!!!! RUN!!!!! a
Guest guest
> In a message dated 6/28/2003 10:29:57 AM US Mountain Standard Time, > sbheme@y... w > > > a, I told my mother in law if she told my daughter she was ugly again I was going to turn her in to social services for mental child abuse. I must say my daughter stuck up for herself (i wasn't there or my foot would have been in someones rear) she told her grandma that she was acting like a two year old!!!! I have been teaching my girl how to be a strong, intelligent, beautiful hearted little lady, and giving her ammunition to use when I'm not there. The first thing I do is try to create a situation where she's not around grandma without me there, but can't always do it. I thank God she is with my mom today, who loves her like a grandmother should. I am working hard on finding somewhere to put the old broad this week. My husband has been told get her out or me and the kids are living with my parents!!! Thanks for your support, it helps bunches! \
Guest guest
Hi, I'm Debbie. I'm kinda new here... 44 yrs old have Lupus, fibromyalgia, maybe diabetes, migraines, disk problems, and osteopenia. I also have 1 hubby, 1 15yr old daughter (Nikki), 1 11 yr old dog, 3 cats, 2 ferrets, and assorted fish. You have my sympathy! My mom-in-law is great, but her 95 year old mother lives with her and it is rough with the two generations in the same house. Add depression and chronic disease and ..... yechy! Hope this week is better for you... There is a rainbow somewhere:) Hugs................Deb > Hi everyone!!! I've had a volitile week, but I back stronger and > tougher than ever. Guest guest
hard on finding somewhere to put the old broad this week. My husband has been told get her out or me and the kids are living with my parents!!! Thanks for your support, it helps bunches! \ You go ,,, my mom let her father, I dont call him my grandfather, live with us for 10 years after my Grandma died. This man was an alchoholic mean nasty old man and verbally abused my sister and I every day from when I was 8 until I was 18 and he FINALLY died. And yes it's sad to say that I was RELIEVED when he died. My parents never drank the whole time we were kids and could not have been more wonderful kind hearted supportive parents but my mom felt that it was her duty to care for him since she was his last relative. The fact that you are handling it now speaks volumes and dont let your husband make you feel bad either, you know how that is,,, LOL! a C
