Guest guest
I forgot to remind you I am now at 5mg HC cream morning only. I came down and have been holding. My temperatures are averaging 98.5, which still says from Rinds chart that I don't thyroid. This is the confusing part. That is why the doctor is making things worse for me. She has no idea what is wrong with me. She at least excepts his chart to look at. So you want me to raise it slowly like the doc says ever 5 days. Is the amount of HC ok since my temps are averaging and not fluctuating? I am on the 5mcg of T3 and the 5mg HC right now and feel tired. SO you want me to continue raising it and also take the iron correct? If this isn't correct please let me know. I am so foggy headed I really don't mean to pain in the ass. I so appreciate all your time with this. > > Any form of iron you tolerate is fine. Guest guest
Hey, Val... I was reading this note and wondered if this is my problem as far as adding in some Armour...? My last labs were: T3, Reverse: 6 (11-32) C-Reactive Protein: .95 (<.80) Thyroid Peroxidase Antibodies: <10 (<35) Ferritin: 69 (10-232) T4, Total: 1.9 (4.5-12.5) TSH: <.01 (.40-4.5) T3, Free: 427 (230-420) Would the FT4 of 1.9 mean I can't go back to Armour? My RT3 has cleared... What else would cause too much R4?? I've been on T3 only for about 8 months now!! Still not optimized though... > FT3 312 range 230-420 pg/dl > Ft4 1.4 0.8-1.8 ng/dl > TSH 0.77 .40-4.50 mIU/l > REVT3 32 11-32 ng/dl > > I would consider this hypo on the FT3 alone. If on natural thyroid or no thyroi FT4 shoudl be at the top of ti's range to slightly over. this is because they have lowered the ranges over the years to where they are NO longer good ranges. Used to be the top of a FT3 range was 619 or 6.2 (619 being the way your lab measures!) Most unhypo folks or people well adjusted on Armoru have FT3 400-450. FT4 whne perfect is 1.4. Lower than that is hypo and higher than that EVEN by .1 (1.5) always seems to cause RT3 to rise too high. Sop you cannot with these labs raise Amrour. It woudl push your RT3 too high, as it alreayd is too high that is certainly not what you want. T3 only is thr ONLY choice to correct this problem. It literally starves out the RT3 (T4 ios a prohomrone for RT3) and raises your FT3 where it needs to be. > > -- > Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV > > http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ > http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ > http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/ > http://groups.yahoo.com/group/HypoPets/ > > > > ------------------------------------ > >
Guest guest
T4, Total: 1.9 (4.5-12.5) This is not a FREE T4 but a total T4 an it is measured differently. 0.8-1.8 ng/dl Is the usual range for FT4. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/ http://groups.yahoo.com/group/HypoPets/
Guest guest
Oops! I didn't notice the " total " there... Sorry! So with these labs and me still feeling hypo and everything else fixed for now (ferritin, adrenals, RT3 clear), would you recommend me going up more on T3 or starting to add in some Armour (or other NTH)...? Thanks! > T4, Total: 1.9 (4.5-12.5) > > This is not a FREE T4 but a total T4 an it is measured differently. > 0.8-1.8 ng/dl Is the usual range for FT4. > > -- > Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV > > http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ > http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ > http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/ > http://groups.yahoo.com/group/HypoPets/ > > > > ------------------------------------ > >
