I haven't updated it forever. It is listed 2nd on Google when " psc support " is searched, and 5th when " primary sclerosing cholangitis support " is searched. Dear ; It would be a shame to give up this domain, particularly since it is one of the top 10 on Google. I know it was one of the first web sites I found when our son was first diagnosed and when I began looking for information. However, I have to confess that I was a little disappointed by some of its content .... for example many links were (and still are) broken. If you were to keep it, I think it would be helpful to bring it up-to-date. Perhaps the existing link to this all- important " " forum on Yahoo should be made more prominent? Perhaps one could remove the link for signing up for an e-mail account, and perhaps the link to the non-functional " Stats " page could also be removed. I know it is a lot of work maintaining a web site. Do you want volunteers to help you keep it updated? I am sure there are some " Information Technology " members who might be able to help with this. There is no shortage of new information being published in the areas of liver diseases, autoimmune diseases and inflammtory bowel diseases. For instance, today alone, over 50 new papers on inflammatory bowel disease were published! I would have no problem sending you a list of 200 or so relevant new papers every week if you wished to include these on your web site. Barb is always coming up with interesting news articles and papers. P.A. also posts abstracts and news stories regularly. Many others also provide interesting reading material from a wide range of sources. Involving these individuals might enhance your http://www..com/ site? In today's world, many people could easily contribute simultaneously to maintaining the web site via ftp. This is clearly the way to reach many more people, and to get more visibility for this disease. If we are ever to establish a foundation for research and education, your http://www..com/ site would be the obvious " home " for this. I started my own web site for PSC literature because the information seemed so scattered, and it would often take hours and hours of searching to find the specific information that I was looking for. A central location of good information can save many people many hours of hunting, usually at a time when they can least afford to spend this time because of medical emergencies. The repository of information I have at the URL below (about 25 MB worth!) could easily be transferred to another web site where it might make more sense for it to be housed. I am very much open to suggestions.
