Anticipating Afib

It's been 15 days and I know that sometime in the next 5 days or so

that afib will kick in irrespective of what I eat drink or do. Then I

will be pretty much out of action for 14 to 22 hours after taking the

verapamil on demand. I am not looking forward to having afib on Xmas

Eve and hope that it will occur between Xmas and New Years. Ideally,

I would love to go thirty days because I read somewhere in these

posts that it't the magic number. I try not to think about it and

busy myself with the routine things. I played golf yesterday and was

pleased to not have afib kick in. I suppose many others go through

this same aticipatory process.

-I hear ya!!!! I have Afib about every 4 to 5 days, and my episodes

are long, usually 30 to 39 hours. I am already starting to get edgy

because I'm having a house full of company on Christmas Day and by

then I'll be ripe for another Afib episode. It sure stinks, doesn't

it???
