Gosh, Steph, I hope my show in November does as well as yours did.

What were your best sellers? What fragrances? Did you have more than just

soap?? And, do you know what was stolen?? I am just wondering what someone

liked enough to steal! I should make a lot of THAT!!

in Georgia

Hello all,

I'm finally over that airhead syndrome that many have spoken of after doing a

show all day long and am now coherent enough to write!!

My first show was a huge success! I had over $560 in sales - AAAAAHHHH!

cha-ching! Not bad for a $60 entry fee. Some items sold out eventhough I'd

brought 25 of everything. I made sure that any dissappointed customer left

me their name and address in my guest book so I could let them know when more

stock was available via my mailing list and when my next shows were.

I got tons of compliments on the booth and got interviewed for the newspaper

by a public relations person at the college that the show was held at. I made

sure to take pictures of the finished booth for future shows before the doors

opened to the public.

Very busy the whole time. Thank god my sister was there to help me bag the

products. I only had time for a couple bathroom breaks and that was it -

hardly got around to eating the lunch I'd brought!

The craziest thing happened - the fire alarm went off! Figures! My first

show and this has to happen! Everyone had to vacate the building until the

fire department came and allowed us to go back in. I was worried about my

products getting stolen (as was everyone else). Turns out the alarm got

pulled by a curious 4 year old - grrrhh! WHERE was this parent???? could have

been worse....

when I got home and compared my remaining inventory to what I had taken to

the show and compared to my receipts, sure enough I had seven bars stolen

from me! Well, at least I should be flattered that they thought enough of MY

stuff to steal it and at least they are CLEAN THIEVES! HEE HEE.

anyhow, I just had to share my excitement of my little business venture that

I have lovingly dubbed " The Lavender Knot "

soap on ladies (and gents) !
