firm.

Third Sector Partners has been retained by American India Foundation to recruit

their Country Director - India.

We were wondering if any of your acquaintances will be interested in the

opportunity.

The American India Foundation (AIF) is a leading international development

organization working on issues of Education, Livelihood, and Public Health

projects in India. AIF works out of New York and Silicon Valley in the US, and

New Delhi and Bangalore in India. Ex-President of USA, Bill Clinton serves as

Honorary Chair.

The AIF India Country Director would play a leadership role in shaping the

thinking, approach and strategies relating to all programmatic & organizational

building aspects of AIF in India.

We are looking for Individuals with:

* Professional experience of 12+ years (preferably 16-20) post qualification, of

which at least 6 years in a general management role in a reputed corporate,

institution, or not-for-profit organization, where s/he has been responsible for

strategizing social issue intervention, organization building, human resource

development & financial management functions.

* Understanding of nuances of the development/NGO sector

* Excellent communication skills with the ability to build & sustain successful

partnerships.

* Entrepreneurial and innovative in approach to the management of objectives.

* Overseas/international experience would be a desirable asset.
