Guest guest
Hi, Due to a string of circumstances, I have been off of my mailing lists for a few months now, but am now rejoining. I have been cooking GF for my kids for almost a year now and have recently gone GF myself while awaiting enterolab test results. On a recent trip to Whole Foods in Charlottesville, VA, I stocked up on their GF Bakery items for myself. YUM!!! Since baking for my kids I have had to accomodate their egg, dairy, rice and soy allergies, so I have never tasted anything GF so wonderful as the bakery items. I would love to know how to duplicate them at home since Charlottesville is 1 1/2 hours away and I am unable to go up there often. I've seen lots of recipes online, but does anyone know of any of similar taste and texture to the Whole Foods ones they have tasted that I can start with? I've used up almost all of my " stash " of choc chip cookies, cheese scones and raisin bread in the freezer and am starting to miss having something for my snacking urges! Thanks! ) Janet
