Guest guest
Hi, I lost hair.. It is harder to tell because I have long thick hairt. I used to NOTY be able to use a regular ponytail holder in my hair.. No I can wrap it 3 times...My hair is everywhere... anyways I do take zing and it does seem to help, I knw there hacve adverse reactions to zinc but for me it was worth the try.. it has slowed down the loss. Also...IT DOES GROW BACK .... SO it will get better..... Cheryl Advice for the day: If you have a lot of tension and you get a headache, do what it says on the aspirin bottle: Take two and keep away from children. Guest guest
, I’m sorry, but you crack me up ;-) Yes, I’m losing hair, too. It’s all over my clothes and furniture, and comes out in wads in the shower. I just got it cut - about to my jawline - and that has helped. I have curly hair when it’s short, so it’s not as noticable. I’m not that worried about it though. I know it will stop eventually, and as long as I’m losing weight, I’m willing to lose some hair, too. Anyway, I understand your frustration! As for LB... their jeans have always been too big for me. I haven’t noticed it with anything else of theirs, but I do notice that sizes vary everywhere. For instance, I just saw a catalog where a 1X is 14-16. I thought that was odd. I’m pretty much fitting a tad snugly into 16’s now, and that’s exciting. However, I tried on this great dress at Talbots last week that was supposedly an 18. It was WAY too small! Talk about discouraging. I guess the rule is to just try everything on. I bought a ton of stuff this weekend, and I can’t tell you how it lifts the spirits. I suggest you go out and get some new duds! No matter what size they are! Hope you get happy soon... maybe it’s the weather - Alice A. Guest guest
Alright I feel like complaining. I'm really p'ed off...I'm losing my hair. Yeah I know it's vain and trite for me to complain about stupid hair loss, but it bothers the heck out of me. I don't care what everyone else says, the hair loss on me -always- shows (I lost some hair after both pregnancies) because my hair is very thin to begin with. Ugh...it's falling out by the handful. If it continues I'm cutting it all short and wearing crazy wigs---think Brittany on Big Brother. Has anyone experienced real & noticable hair loss...and did ANYTHING stop it? This is really bumming me out. Also...has anyone else noticed that Lane has begun vanity sizing? I bought a skirt in a sz. 18 last night...I know I am NOT a size 18 anywhere else in the world...What's up with that? They get my hopes up only to be dashed when I try to shop everywhere else! I'm in a grumpy mood today---I didn't win a dime at Foxwoods yesterday (and my grandmother left $3K richer!) LOL. *grumble grumble* Stalled & Bald(ing) F. 6/5/00 Open RNY Dr. Bruce Thayer 277/237/
Guest guest
Just a reminder everyone. My girlfriend, who has never had a weight problem, has the same issues with clothes. She varies between a size 7 to as high as a 13, depending on the make, style, and cut. She weighs about 150 pounds and I have gone to the stores with her. Everyone should try it on before buying!!! Don't be discouraged, it just shows that you are normal. Small people have the same problems sometimes. Whose going to the LMH meeting tomorrow night?? I am, and I hope to meet more of you. Dawn and Ralph were kind enough to let me sit with them last time I went, and I met there too. Maybe I will go to the caf before hand and see what that is like. Guest guest
Alice, *poke* I'm glad I could give you a laugh Seriously though I am considering doing something really drastic with my hair before school starts. I was in Hot Topic Monday trying to decide which color to go with, and it seems like purple or blue would work for me. I think I might actually cut my hair really short, bleach it white blonde and then color it different colors for my different moods. People would be so shocked by the color & style that they wouldn't even notice the thinness of it LOL. What do you think? : Very Andy Warhol don't you think??? I think I'll take a vote on what color to go with. F. lknglas11@... wrote: , I’m sorry, but you crack me up ;-) Yes, I’m losing hair, too. Guest guest
Hi all, Life is insanely busy these days, and I’m way behind on email. I’m going away this weekend (Steph, I’ll be in Rockport at the Emerson Inn), so I don’t know when I’ll catch up, but I’ll try One question, has anyone ever been on a plateau and NOT lost inches during that time? - Alice A. Guest guest
Alice A-Have a wonderful time in Rockport. The Emerson Inn is beautiful! Right near the ocean. I am going to Scituate this weekend to meet my brother's fiance's family. I live on Broadway in Rockport, right near T Wharf and Bearskin Neck. Have a great weekend!
