Guest guest
YW, Jonyce! Glad I helped! Just be sure the parents know they may NOT deviate from the list, for health and safety reasons, so some turkey doesn't send in whatever she feels like! Another suggestion (just to complicate your life LOL!) is to call each parent whose child is in the nursery and ask if THEY have any special dietary needs or preferences (vegetarian, "artificials" free, sugar free, whatever) and combine the lists. Believe me, as a parent of kids with varying dietary needs, I would LOVE to have someone ask me before they send in dayglo colored cookies that send my kid into outer space! I get tired of being the parent that's "different" or who won't allow her kid to eat what we consider garbage, when "everyone else" is sitting there munching away. And I get tired of having to provide separate snacks all the time. I know you could come up with a list that would please everyone. I know, because I've done GFCF/Feingold on and off for a couple of years, and it is doable. Marilyn
