A milestone I don't know if I care for

Hi everyone -

Well, yesterday Sam, my 19 month old son, distinctly said his first

six word sentence. I was trying to get him dressed for the day and I

said " Sam, come over here and let's get some clothes and a clean

dipaer on. " Instead of coming, he ran over to his toys, looked back

at me and said, " I don't want to. " There was no denying it. Oh

my... and I still have five more months until he turns two. How come

his first sentence had to be a defiant one?? The joy of it all...

Oh, my... I've NEVER heard that phrase before! It sounds like Sam

is doing great and striking out with some independence.
