Guest guest
It seems I have all the opposite reactions than most people do going through this process. It's so frustrating! I am currently on compounded T3(5mcg) & T4 (50mcg) once daily and I'm weaning off cortef and am currently taking 5mg in 6am and 5mg at noon. I definitely feel better than I use to, but that is all relative. I still get a little slump in the afternoon but it doesn't last long. I started weaning off cortef because I was starting to retain water pretty badly and as I've weaned that has gone away. The problem now is my weight is higher than it's been in 2 years. I eat extremely clean and I exercise 4 times a week. I've always been small, but my weight has been creeping up over the last few months and I don't understand why. Before I was diagnosed with hypothyroid I maintained the same weight for 5 years. Why now is it changing???
