Guest guest
Thanks Val, I will do that and then every three days add another bit. Thnak you so much. Lynn x wrote: I would call it a day wiht thyroid and then repeat this tiny dose tomorrow. and again the next day then try adding in a second dose. Three days should allow adrenals enough time to adjust to that dose then you cna increase by another tiny amount. Some folks with weak adrenals even on support have to go VERY slowly wiht thyroid and it sure sounds like oyu are one of them. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ --------------------------------- For ideas on reducing your carbon footprint visit Yahoo! Guest guest
Val, I have just stressed dosed 5mg and i feel a little better - what does that tell you - cortisol? Does Armour up the cortisol burden? I am know starting to feel hot, but better than earlier. Im on 30mg HC thought that would be enough, maybe not. Lynn x T wrote: >> I really dont feel good, feel a bit out of it and down. Is it normal too feel this when starting Armour - if it is i willcarry on - just feel all achy and occassional burning head. Feel like someone has turned the light off that was here last week when i was just on HC.<< With severe adreanl fatigue a dip for 2-3 days is to be expected, but no more. Guest guest
When you add thyroid is it takes more cortisol than oyu needed without it as it utilizes it. Yeah, some of us 30MG ois not enough, but I sure try ot keep it there and push the envelope as I hate seeing people go higher than that, but sometines it is necessary. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://www.seewell4less.com/Valspage.htm Medical Alert Bracelets

Guest guest
I guess it would be a lot different for you. I have always taken just a little more HC when this happens, but I am going to try the food next time and see if it makes a difference. I have noticed a lot more blood sugar problems since all this started. Hope the heat breaks so you can get out of the house! Jan > > Jan this is WAT different for me! I am Diabetic on Insulin. Guest guest
AH HA!!!! A healthy reason to drink chocolate milk! Thank you! Thank you! THANK YOU! I would kiss your shoes if I could! \o/ Hensley Re: hi Hi Val, Why do you suppose you have the hypoglycemic problems with the heat? I have been having similar problems. Whenever I get too hot, I start feeling dizzy and yucky. I thought maybe it was low cortisol. Maybe I will try the chocolate milk thing next time! This all started with my taking HC and thyroid meds. Guest guest
>>Do you think it could be case of not needing Armour - have you heard of anyone just needing there adrenals dealt with. My .last thyroid test in in June was: Free T3 4.5 (3-6.2) Free t4 14.8 (12-22) TSH 3.1 (0.4-4.0) My adrenals were low, and myn DHEA was really high, as were all my other sex hormones. What do you think?<< By your thyroid labs you DO need thyroid. I suspect you simply have not got the adrenal support right yet. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/
Guest guest
I also used to think maybe I just needed adrenal support because my t4 was mid-range (your is low actually...) but my ft4 was low. However, while taking HC DEFINITELY made me feel better (and finally allowed for me to sleep!), I was still hypo. My ft3 went up a tad, but was still at the very low end. > > >>Do you think it could be case of not needing Armour - have you heard of anyone just needing there adrenals dealt with. Also sex hormones were high - progesterone was through the roof.<< The high DHEA is from low cortisol it is on3e of the stages of adrenal fatigue where the body is trying to compensate for low cortisol by producing more DHEA ot try to maintain your metabolic rate. This lab's ranges are HORRIBLE, you would have to be near dead and in ;s to fall below these ranges, dso for proper evaluation you have to consider these ranges to need ot be near the top on each level. I would guess you to need cortisol from these labs, probabyl at leats 20MG HC daily, but possibly more. The good thing is your AM cortisol is not as bad as it could be, and that shows great promise for recovery. It seesm liek when the 8AM cortisol is really low that people have the worst problems with finding a correct dose of HC and also in building their adrenal reserves adn they are really depleted when the adrenals can;t muster at least a 50% or normal morning cortisol. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/
