Guest guest
Hello gang, I haven't been keeping up lately cause my stepdad has been hospitalized for the past 2 weeks and my mum has been staying with me. I love her to death but some days I think I'm losing my mind. Anyways, I had my phone consult with 's RE Dr. Katz and he totally disagreed with my first OB & RE's findings. He thinks I need another hysteroscopy and the drug protocols (2 options) shouldn't be with clomid or synarel. So off I go to get a 3rd opinion. My new doc is absolutely awesome. He looked at all my surgical results, drug protocols etc. and he totally agrees with Dr. Katz's opinion. , you are the absolute best. If you hadn't questioned my protocols I would have thrown away $1500 a month on TTC. You are a GODDESS!!!!!!!! I can't do anything to thank you except send you and your baby every positive thought, feeling and prayer I can. Just as a refresher my first surgeon did the D & C from the miscarriage and then the lap/hyst & the HSG to make sure all was well and gave me the big green lite to TTC. The real deal is that he did remove the AS from the lower part of the uterus but the fundus is 90% obliterated. The cavity is open a measly 10%. I am so incredibly pissed with my first surgeon I could rip his head off. He was willing to let me spend big bucks to TTC without knowing what the hell he was talking about. My new doc said if by some miracle i had got PG it would be 100% certainty of miscarriage. Talk of playing with my mind and emotions. So here's where I'm at now. While my doc is an RE and surgeon he only has privileges at one of our smaller hospitals and they don't have sophisticated enuf equipment so he wants me to see another surgeon, Dr Vilos. He assures me that he is one of the best lap/hyst doctors in Canada. I had heard this from someone else in this group but I can't remember from who. He's going to twist his arm a little to try and get me in asap since he feels that even with fertility meds I don't have much time left to TTC. I'll be 40 in a few weeks and according to my bloodwork my eggs are hitting the skids fast. This kicker to all this is that this doc actually works in the same women's clinic as the moron who did my D & C and my lap/hyst. I hope he goes to him about my case and he feels as inept and stupid as he is (I'm feeling a little vengeful at the moment). , as far as the drug protocol after surgery and healing is done, he's suggested injectable FSH, and estrogen and progesterone suppositories--damn you're good. Anyways, I better get back to work, but it's been such a long road and I wanted to share what I know isn;t 100% positive info but it's definitely better than the junk I've been fed in the past. Now I am cautiously optimistic that I still have a chance. Cheers AmyL
