Guest guest
Anyone else get the palps with eating?? How long are you goign between eating? When I go hypoglycemic, I feel only shaky, bu when my glucose starts to rise after eating something or taking glucose tabs I get palps BADLY almost every time if my sugar was low to begin with. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/
Guest guest
So then what do they do if they can't take Armour? I'm curious because I couldn't even tolerate 1/4 grain. > > Yes Dana I have sen several people with T3 resistance that had HIGH > temops from taking ANY Armoru. Even a little bit. Guest guest
to be honest, I go a while....I am not very hungry lately. I know, bad to wait so long in between meals. I probably do have a sugar problem now....my last bloodwork indicated 85 and I know that 99 is the cut off. I did not have any issues before Cortef though. I know it has messed me up to be on such a high dose for months. That is why I am so anxious to lower it. I screwed up so badly. Cannot believe I got into this situation. That is why i tell everyone to always TEST their adrenals before going on HC. Even though I know I was low adrenal, I just went to high by accident and I am paying for it now. If I had it to do over again, I would never have gone above 25 HC. And, I would have been way more careful with my stress dosing. What I thought were low Adrenal symptoms could very well have been low iron (which I now have) or RT3 issues. I cannot wait to find out now if that is what is going on. Val, how do I get ahold of some Cytomel? The same source as HC? And, how expensive is it? Thanks, Dana > > Anyone else get the palps with eating?? > > How long are you goign between eating? Guest guest
I had palps only when hypo and on synthetics. Never after Armour. Guest guest
Val, I'm wondering if I am one of those people who can't take Armour, at least for now. These results were when I was on 1 gr Armour and 17.5 mg HC. I have since stopped Armour and raised HC to 20mgs. Do I look like a candidate for T3 only or does it look like a HC problem? FT3 not tested. FT4 3.86 (1.20-3.22) Total T4 11.1 (3.8-12.0) T3 uptake 34.8 (22.0-37.0) TSH 0.02 (0.40-4.50) Reverse T3 47 (11-32)
Guest guest
FT4 3.86 (1.20-3.22) Total T4 11.1 (3.8-12.0) T3 uptake 34.8 (22.0-37.0) TSH 0.02 (0.40-4.50) Reverse T3 47 (11-32) Because T4 is also high as is RT3, I would say oyu would probably do better on just T3. How low was your cortiosl? -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://www.seewell4less.com/Valspage.htm Medical Alert Bracelets
Guest guest
This doc did not do adequate cortisol testing but my saliva tests put me in stage 7. My temps go thru stable times and then jump around a bit. > > FT4 3.86 (1.20-3.22) > Total T4 11.1 (3.8-12.0) > T3 uptake 34.8 (22.0-37.0) > TSH 0.02 (0.40-4.50) > Reverse T3 47 (11-32) > > Because T4 is also high as is RT3, I would say oyu would probably do better on just T3. I would try HC until your temps stabilize then try the Armoru again. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://www.seewell4less.com/Valspage.htm Medical Alert Bracelets
