Guest guest
My heart's been really bad for 3 days. Bad palps and up to 130 pulse. I had just raised my T3. I don't think that is it. I think it's because my system is still screwed, all I have to do is get stressed. But I finally got to a clinic and got it checked out and it's atrial fibrillation. Finally my dr believes I have this problem. Whew. Well, my dr is not too sharp about thyroid in the first place and he said " See? I told you that too much thyroid can cause this! " . And I said " so can too little " . Well.... But all he can see is the heart and possible blood clot. Geez, this has been going on for 27 years! There are reasons it gets set off. I told him I was not taking any Armour, that I was taking T3 and he still doesn't know what it is. He wanted me on a blood pressure med, which I am on already. Propranolol. But my BP was 104/80. When I got home, it was 84/60. He had called in a prescription that would slow my heart, but the druggist said it would lower my BP and cause dizziness! I don't need any more of that. He gave me a cardiologist to call, but what I need is a good doctor. Maybe the cardiologist will know more than the GP. He wanted me on Coumadin. No way. Not just because there *might* be something. Coumadin is a big headache. I am not a happy camper. I cannot walk or even raise my arms when it's like this because I'm not getting enough blood moving. I don't know whether to drop the T3 and go back to Armour, or what?
