Guest guest
Hi, I wanted to let you know that I know what you are going through and they are extremely painful. My GYN has me use warm soaks with Epson salt because it helps dry it up and get rid of the swelling. I actually found Sea Salt to be more soothing. The other trick to take out the pain is to use tea bags. YES, tea bags soaked in hot water and put them right on there. Apparantly there is an ingrediant in the tea bag that helps reduce the swelling. I wouldn't recommend surgery because that is the absolute last resort. Are the cysts that have a white head on them or are they underneath the skin? I had both kinds and the one that have a white head or are soft go away on their own. If they are hard that means there is a sack in them which unfortunately won't go away on their own. I had to have two small cysts removed about 2 months ago. But they were small enough that my gyn didn't have to stitch me up. I hope this is helpful. Sheryl
