When afib is no longer a problem for one, one does not feel as inclined to communicate with other afibbers. I know that I have not participated as frequently as I did when I was in afib 50 percent of the time. I have also noticed that others who are cured by ablation or other means stop or decrease participation in the group. My brother in permanent afib feels no need to participate in a group because for him afib is not a problem. Therefore, any kind of statistical sampling of this group would necessarily be biased in a negative way because a group like this tends to be made up of people who have a concern about afib or who want to help others, including me. in sinus in Seattle
