Guest guest
Water is a " body flusher " It may sound strange but the less water you drink, the more you will retain. There is more information in the web site listed below. http://www.inch-aweigh.com/water.html -Beth Water > > Hi, I've read a few times now that drinking water is extremely important > while doing sbd. Guest guest
Water is important PERIOD. Every thing in your body needs water to function optimally. But as far as why it's important with SBD, I'll let someone else explain that exactly. Kris Water Hi, I've read a few times now that drinking water is extremely important while doing sbd. Is there any reason why it's so important? thanks, e
Guest guest
I'm trying to remember what my dr told me. If your body is fully hydrated everything works more efficient. Like motor oil in your car. If it is full everything works smoothly with little restaince. Without all the water your body has to work harder. So you heart benefits a lot by having all your water. Your metabolism is better too.

Is there any reason why it's so important? It gives you exercise from running to the bathroom so frequently. -- Ann You spend your life fighting dirt, and when you die they bury you in it. hayakawa@... Guest guest
Yes it is ok I use 1/2 lemon squeezed for each 16 oz cup I drink. You can also add a pinch of stevia if absolutely necessary. Hey btw LIME is great too for a change. <DoesSheGo@g...> wrote: > > Is it okay to have a splash of lemon juice for flavor in your > water? Guest guest
"What did he say about water?" Dr A say's that you get a lot of the water that is needed from the fresh fruits & fresh vegetables on the SBD & he also say's that liquids in other drinks also count as water consumption & he also say's that MOST people drink enough water naturally & get enough from the foods they eat & the liquids they drink, & so he does not agree with saying that everyone needs to drink at least 8 glasses of water daily & there is NO set amount of water that he recommends per day for most people who eat & drink normally. There are those on this & other lists who choose to disagree some things Dr A writes.. I, personally, feel that if they want to have their own personal opinions, that is their option, but they should post to the SBD lists clearly stating those are their personal opinions & not those of Dr A who disagrees with their personal beliefs & personal opinions & whose diet the rest of us try to follow. I do not understand people on SBD who decide most of the diet is correct but things they personally do not agree with must mean that everyone else should not believe Dr A & should believe their own personal opinion & beliefs. This is not the only SBD list that has people who choose to make up their own rules about water ( & now also stevia). As I said, everyone makes their own personal choices & those are OK for them, but I do not understand why they think their own personal beliefs & opinions belong on a list supposedly about the South Beach Diet as written by Dr A & that they post these personal opinions of theirs as if they are part of this diet, but they not the beliefs or opinions of the man who wrote the book that most of us try to follow right. ..·´¨¨)) -:¦:- ¸.·´ .·´¨¨))((¸¸.·´ ..·´ Sue -:¦:--:¦:- ((¸¸.·´ -:¦:-
