Guest guest
Cautiously optomistic (two weeks now) that second ablation has worked. I anticipate that I will be told to stop taking warfarin and Sotalol when I see the Cardiologist next. Warfarin, I presume that I simply stop taking, but will I need to wean myself off Sotalol? If so, how slowly? Bob
Guest guest
Bob, That is great..hopefully you have it made...I just finished weaning off Sotolol..I was taking 160 mg's twice daily..I went to 80mg's twice daily for 3 days, then 40mg's twice daily for 3 days, then 40mg once daily for 3 days..No problem...I'm sure if your cardiologist takes you off sotolol he will explain how. Best of Luck to you, Marie <<<<<Snip....> Warfarin, I presume that I simply stop taking, but will I need to > wean myself off Sotalol? I experienced no problems and was more than happy to bid farewell to both of them. Of course, your cardiologist may suggest a different procedure. Good luck.
