Re: Back from Iowa, update.

This was written last evening, but I had trouble sending it.

We saw Dr. Ponseti and had the first casts put on this morning. She did

great for the inital evaluation and first cast. She slept while he examined

her and just laid there during the first cast. She screamed for the second

cast. He is such a gentle and kind man. We are very thankful for the

opportunity to see him. He said that her feet are " fairly severe " , but they

are easily manipulated so treatment should not be a problem. She is already

starting to lift the casts. What a strong baby. We leave next Monday for an

appointment on Tuesday. We do not have flight arrangements yet so we are

praying that Angel Flights will be able to arrange something. We are a

little concerned since it is the Holiday. Please keep that in your prayers.

God has blessed us in that he has provided the finances for this past flight.

We were able to meet Tia and Kelby and see Mc house while we

were there. What a special treat.

Alaya slept through the night and doesn't seem bothered by the casts at all.
