I am home-

Things went very well, we think. Larry Chinitz saw something however he had

not seen thus far- where he had ablated in the past....live tissue came back

and he actually had to re- ablate where he had done before. He claims he never

saw that before. He also saw lots of new areas and he did encircle the PVs

which claim to have more value than SOCA. I will know more in about 8-10 weeks

when the heart calms down and recovers from the trauma of it all. Time will

tell.

Last time I had to be cardioverted about 6 times before I got 7 months of NSR.

I was in the ablation room for about 6 hours- my shortest time ever. :-)

I am home on lovenox and I have chosen to stay on lovenox because I have such

a difficult time achieving a 'good' INR with coumiden. So I will stay on

lovenox for a month and then probably go to an aspirin- but I will discuss that

with Larry as the time approaches.

I am already getting my strength back and feeling okay. The first day after I

slept for 27 hours- from all the drugs I guess. I am up and about and today

will go out. I work from home and will do some work tomorrow-

Just wanted to let all of you know-

Warm regards,

Ronnie

Val.

Very early on when I got Af, I wanted to know everything about it. Every new

word and every new drug I use to google it and this helped me to learn about my

condition,

F.Y.I.. an ablation is a catheter put into you groin and sent to your heart. It

isolates the area that are causing the problems by burning the area away and

scaring the tissues.

Take a look at www.cardima.com

They have a very good web site that explains what af is and how its treated.
