To your benefit I like to know what is the Amio. dosage,

you have been taking.

My wife has been on AMIO. approx. 14 ys and it doesn't

cause any problem with Coumadin i.e. with pt/INR.

Mine came back elevated about a month ago. I repeat the test on Dec. 3. I

take lipitor and amiodarone, both can cause the problem. I meet with my

new EP

towards the end of Nov. and we will discuss the situation. I suppose my

options

are; drop the amiodarone and go with the rate control, switch to

dofetilide,

have an ablation( which I still doubt that I will do), try reducing the

dosage

of both the amiodarone and lipitor.

I'll let everyone know what happens.
