Guest guest
I'm bobbing and weaving prizefighter style to stay out of the way of flying object that will be tossing at me,and I may be a FORMER moderator, but PLEASE leave SOME of the original message. I've read some replies today and have no idea what they were talking about. Those who wait a few days to reply, may have just read the post, but the subject could be long gone by then,or at least out of MY mind. I think I'm in a no win situation here. Shutting up now. ..............Betty S in TX " Terry Mayers - 5DollarHosting.com " wrote: >Thanks for the reminder Vic. Guest guest
You know, if all the famous people come (and there's already famous ones, or at least notorious), I will not be ABLE to speak, for one. And I wont' want to, as I will want to go out & play. " Out " b eing a relative term for a comfy place to sit & chat, nothing to do with OUT as in the sun and heat. Guest guest
Depending on where I post from, (and this may be a problem with some email services) some of the earlier message might be truncated. Came up with a note from on the protein list - seems that when I read my yahoogroup email from work, Webmail seems to take the original email message and make it into an attachment, which just leaves my answer. And then when it gets sent back to the list, the " attachment " is tossed. (a safety precaution for the group) I'm still trying to figure if it's some sort of interaction between my webmail with and the yahoo groups, or what, because when I click on email messages from my Lois McMaster Bujold list, those original messages come up in my reply message. I'd be curious, too, - as an example, the person who leaves the most previous email message on the list and then goes to the bottom to answer and frequently only has 2 lines of text with a huge existing previous email above it is a hotmail user. I'm wondering if possibly hotmail doesn't show all that previous email when she hits reply... because as often as we've requested on the list for people to trim their posts, she hasn't, and I'm thinking it's because maybe, when she actually hits reply, she doesn't see the original message. Just a thought. Pam in Niceville preop Lap RNY 11/20/02 Dr. Champion/Atlanta VBowen asks: Betty asks: > PLEASE leave SOME of the original message I agree Betty Sure I like that also... So we know who is talking about what sometime the trail goes cold
Guest guest
I can't understnd why one would go to the BOTTOM to reply. Makes sense to me to reply at the TOP. Then again, I've been backasswards on most things in my life! ...........Betty S in TX " Pam Gotcher " wrote: >Depending on where I post from, (and this may be a problem with some >email services) some of the earlier message might be truncated.
