I am really confused here.... I thought perhaps I had missed some of your

messages or something, b/c I did accidentally let my mailbox get full and so

lost a few days of messages, but I did a search for your email name in May

and this is the only post that I found. If you have posted to the list in

May (other than this one), are you sure it went through? I ask this because,

as I said, I couldn't find anything by searching my saved mail (and my puter

saves everything) or on the list, so I wonder if you are having trouble

getting your messages posted for some reason.

Also, I will be the first to admit that I often scan the subject lines

looking for hot topics of the day or something that applies to my kiddos;

when times are good, I read every single mail, but the last few months have

been crazy and so I read what I can. Often on cfparents, when I am swamped,

or just sneaking a peak at my mail while at work, I do not even open the ones

that have re: in front of them, b/c I assume they are a reply to a post that

I didn't write (if the subject wasn't created by me, for example) and then I

try to get them later when I do have the time... (thats why sometimes there

is a flood of emails from me at one time, then none for a few days or only

one or so re: a certain topic that day...) Anyway, the SUBJECT makes a big

difference, at least to me. I am also on 3 other lists for stuff related to

my kids and also on some work related lists. So, my box fills up very fast.

IF you decide to stay on, can I suggest you try putting in a catchy subject

line, even if it just says PLEASE READ.

The other thing that I would add is that sometimes, I just don't have any

knowlege on a topic and therefore don't reply at all, especially when I know

that I have already cluttered up the list with tons of replies where I let

myself get behind but yet still want to respond to that one more post....

anyway, I don't know if that makes any sense or not. there is one list that

I am on where I NEVER get a response to ANY of my posts. I still lurk for

the info, though, and figure that for whatever reason, no one has any

suggestions for me. I would just hate for you to go away hurt, especially if

it is b/c something simple, like your mail didn't go through, happened, or

even worse, b/c some of us didn't reply when you needed something.

I also think its significant right now that several of the " frequent posters "

are having a tough time right now. , for example, is swamped with

. is overwhelmed with their first pseudo battle and the

battle with her Pulm. is busy with 's surgery. Mo has

completely disappeared. (lori is still hanging in there, though! and

and Kathy and of course Torsten, too) Anyway, so many of us right now are

trying to tread water, I think, that its easy to overlook something.

For example, I did not even see your post from the 14th of may til just now

(after I got another indiv. email from you off list). That is becasuse its

subject line said re:hello, and so I thought it was a reply to someone else.

OK, shut up Jen, enough said.

Sorry to be so rambling, but I, for one, didn't want to play any part

whatsoever in making anyone else feel bad. I personally have been so " off "

lately (unusual for me, and definately effecting things at work, grrr) that I

am starting to think you could move a cow right into my living room, and

maybe I would notice by next week.
