Guest guest
Hi all, I thought I would post my experience on T3 so far. As I had no tests on RT3, I was guessing about it from the fact that both my frees were over when my cortisol was so low. I'm now on 40 mg. HC and in my 9th week of T3 only. Anyway, when I switched over, initially I felt really good. Then, as I raised, my hypo pains, tendonitis, plantar fasciitis, carpal tunnel, etc. kept getting worse and worse so that it even woke me up at night. I felt awful in the AM and gradually better as I got more T3 in me during the day. I finally got up to 108 mcg and went really hyper, over 700. So I cut back my T3 to only 5 mcg and then 25 mcg the next day. But, all the pain was gone and I felt better than I have in awhile. I am back up to 55 mcg as my temps have dropped (basal was 97.1 this AM) so I know I am not optimal yet. I feel like my T3 is more level now, without the horrible pain all the time. So I think maybe some receptors must have cleared? I can now see why people would stay on T3 all the time rather than switching back.
