I hope everyone had a good long weekend with their families and friends and

enjoyed the fireworks.

We missed the parade yesterday as we were packing and cleaning house in

preparation for our move at the end of the month. However we did go to the

fireworks and how much easier it was this year for me! Last year my parents

were visiting and we decided to walk the 1.5 miles to the school where we

could sit & watch the fireworks. We each carried a chair and walked. I

believe I was also pushing the stroller part way last year. I remember my

ankles were swollen, my knees ached, my back hurt from the chair slung

across it & I was sweating and tired & cranky when we arrived. This year we

decided to walk again my husband, myself & our 2 girls. I carried a chair &

pushed the stroller .. we made the trip 1.5 miles (one way) in record time

... and when I got there I felt fine! I wasn't tired, hot, out of breath or

anything! In fact after we set up I continued on down the road to the corner

store to buy us each a drink & JOGGED back to where my family was sitting.

JOGGED & NOT out of breath.

What a difference!!!!!!!

Anyway I am truly thankful for this life saving changing surgery .. I never

would be where I am now without it and for that I am so glad I found my

surgeon, my ins paid and that I had no complications.

Have a great day!
