Guest guest
MAureen, I am one of the women who has spoken to . I am sure she didn't e-mail you back because she recently moved and hasn't been online. She told me it might be some time before she gets back on the internet. she moved from the beach to the mountains. They are trying to have their house completely finished before Christmas. If you want I can let you know as soon as she gets back online. She was really strict with her diet for a long time and now she can oretty much eat what she wants, but even thought it's been 6 years she still gets afraid of a flare up after she eats something she knows is very bad. she is someone who I admire greatly, as through our talks we really got to know each other aside from the pain. I am sure she wouldn't mind me saying this as she is such an open person, but she was very close to ending her life, but knew her daughters needed her adn she just got determined to push herself to get well. I know alot of people think that muscle testing is strange and something that doesnt work. I was sceptical at first too. But when I tried it wiht her instruction with my husband, we were both completely floored. I would never push it on someone as it is a personal choice and I have been lax in testing myself on my foods, but the things I experienced when testing were very interresting to say the least. If you remember, when chiropractics first became known people referred to chiropractors as med school dropouts and flunkies and it was a very strange concept. Now its just something normal. No matter what our different causes of this, I believe that diet plays a role in ANY form of getting better. If you have yeast there are foods that need to be cut out, if its oxalates, that diet should be followed, I have read that soy which alot of vegans eat, can block estrogen. And how many of us couldn't stand to eat better? Thin or not. Just my opinion. Not that I eat right or anything. I certainly have a problem with the taste of food. I love to eat and a bland diet for even a week is so hard. I think as time goes on we will all find our path to getting well, it;s just that we want an over night cure because we don't want to deal with this pain any longer, but that's not going to happen. But also as long as we are quiet and reserved about our bodies like so many of us were taught as little girls then noone is going to push for funding to deply research our problem. I DO admire Dr. s. The Foundation runs off of donations. But it's up to us to educate doctors and even other women. It's ok to say the words vagina and vulva and clitoris. We arent going to be sent to hell for it. But so many women still refer to it all as private parts, or down there. We have a serious medical condition and it's sad that we have to seek advise from each other because the medical community as a whole really isn't overly concerned with our pain. Ok, I'm rambling on and I am in no way disgusted with the medical community as a whole, just disappointed that we can't find some way to be heard. REALLY heard. Not just on an episode of a show like Sex In the City where the girl from what I heard was sent on her way with a cream and was treated like it was no big deal. until then we all have to lean on each other. That's what gets me through the day, knowing that I am not alone and that I have a huge group of wonderful, knowledegable women to turn to. I will be a year into this tomorrow and it feels like a lifetime. I need to fight to mke sure that it WON'T become a lifetime! Feel free to e-mail me anytime personally if you want to talk, we are at the same time period and probably are going through the same emotional feelings. My e-mail is CNDLAUR@... or CNDLAUR@.. Guest guest
Hi Candi, Did the diflucan help you? I had a yeast infection 2 weeks ago, took 2 diflucan. I felt better last week, but since Sunday the infection is back. I am taking more diflucan, but it doesn't seem to be helping. I don't know - everyone who uses diflucan tells me it helps them within 24 hours or so.... why not me???? What is the other thing you were taking - was it for yeast also? I also ordered Three Lac today. Maureen
Guest guest
Candi, I paid $49.99 + $6.00 shipping for my order of Three Lac. (so about the same). I ordered it online - I forget which site though. Also, did you ever order the acidophilous from the guy in Cali.? How much is that, out of curiousity? I am going to do the saliva test myself. Everyone I have heard taking diflucan seems to think it works wonders, so I thought I was the only one it didn't help! Maureen
Guest guest
Candi, Are you also taking the nystatin? Are you taking that for 30 days? I am only going to be on it for 14 days, but I have already been on it 7 days. I haven't started the Three Lac yet. I did read the info. on the link that you provided. I hope that we all feel the same way after using Three Lac!!!! Keep us posted. I am debating whether or not to start the Three Lac or to wait until I have finished the nystatin - I have another week of it. Are you feeling any better, other than the itching? Guest guest
Flax seed or flax seed oil? This will help with the constipation? I will not eat granola for a few days and hope that the constipation does not come back! Thanks, Maureen
