Guest guest
Diane, maybe you would benefit from a mild tranquilzer til you are through with your treatments. I Know they helped my Mom tremendously during her bout with cancer. There's nothing wrong with asking for something to calm your nerves in a situation such as you are facing - and the relief that it can provide to your frayed nerves could make a dramatic difference in your healing time and all your other symptoms. I am a firm believer in using medicine to my advantage when necessary and things like chemo treatments and surgeries - which are filled with dread and anxiety - would be one of those times I considered " necessary " . Good luck Dusty Re: Re: Lynn - Benefiber The device is called the " Motivaider " www.motiv-aider.com My understanding is that you can program it to vibrate every ten minutes, or whatever time interval you like. I found this in a book called A Headache in the Pelvis. I feel like it has been a critical contribution to helping me start the journey. My whole body has been " bracing " for the last six months, due to several surgeries, chemotherapy, radiation, and just massive anxiety and fear. The other day I was cutting up some zucchini to steam (low oxalates!). My whole body was tight and hunched up. It's like the simple act of cutting veggies was an emergency! My whole existence feels like that lately. Anyway, with the help of the book, that's what I'm trying to change. I'm trying to go through my day with less hysteria, more mindfulness, and definitely more relaxation in my pelvic muscles. Diane Please discuss all methods of treatment with your practitioner. NONE of this is to be taken as medical advice but merely opinions offered! *****END OF MESSAGE***** ------------------------------------------------- Yahoo members can click on: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/VulvarDisorders On the left side is a listing including Links and Files .
