From what I have read and experienced, this is quite universal and not just

with major afib episodes. Since I have been taking Atenolol and Verapamil so

that my symptoms when in afib have become practically nonexistent, it has often

been the sudden frequent need to urinate that has alerted me to take my pulse

to see if I am in afib. Invariably when this extreme need to visit the

bathroom hits, my pulse tells me I am in afib.

Yes, I have that.

It is referred to by people on this board as " the big P " .
