But it sounds like you have a few good things in life so you must focus on finding the blessings you have like a wife and foster parents who love you. I don't know if you have any kind of religious beliefs, but sometimes when things get rough, that can also help pull you through. I have spent several birthdays alone. Us older folks lose the ones we love as we age, so we have to find things to think about and do to get through hard days. If I was there I would give you a birthday hug.
