Guest guest
Well it finaily got here. The " Big Dance " . As I told you all before it really was a " Family Affair " .There were aunts, cousins and sisters involved .I think there were at least three at a time trying to get this kid ready. And ready she got.She had her hair up,with rhinestone clips, wore a long green dress with beads on it.Had a rhinestone necklace and braclett and the florist even put them on her corsauge. We went out to a local resturant for dinner. wanted crablegs but it was to early so she had shrimp (her second favorite)Since we all went and didn't want to use the wheelchair we parked close enough that she could walk. After dinner it was off for pictures. The proofs will be ready Friday. We then drove almost 50 miles to the prom,of course we got lost before we found the right place, but we made it. She got her picture taken by about a dozen people, and of course everyone told her how pretty she looked. She also got several hugs. She then went into the dance ,I did not go inside (not my prom).About 10 she was ready for a ride in the Lemo, we were driven around town for a while ,in style I might add. After all that she was ready to leave,we had a room at a hotel. On the way to the hotel we stopped for taco's to go.She was ready to get into her PJ's and eat her taco but she could only manage one , she was so exhausted.Slept til almost noon today. is still tired today, and we will probably miss a couple days of school to get her rested but it was worth it,she had a wonderful time.I hope all kids get to experience this much fun. We took lots of pictures.I'll try to get some on the email. ,Mom to PS It was worth shaving legs for this.
