Anyone with similar experience?

Early this year, after an increase in my dose of Zocor, I began to feel

really awful, and my liver enzymes were about 3 times normal. I stopped the

Zocor

and within a week or so my enzymes were back to normal although it took a

little longer than that to begin to feel really good. My doctors says a small

elevation in liver enzymes is ok (my ALT generally runs about 20 IU above

normal,

even when not taking Zocor). It's when you begin to feel bad that things

need changing. Because my cholesterol, without Zocor, is terrible now, even

with

diet and exercise, my cardio has put me back on a low dose of Zocor to see

how it affects me. I'm going to have liver enzymes run about every three weeks

to see; however if I start to feel bad again, you can bet I'll quit!
