Guest guest
Hi: I’m passing on a flyer started by the people in our WelcomeToOz2 group. They’re sponsoring a social get together that everyone in the Welcome to Oz community—and beyond—is invited to. Many people have been asking for this for a long time—I hope you can make it. It looks like a lot of fun—there’s a lot to do in Music City USA. If enough people come, I’ll be able to come as well. Please contact with any questions or comments, since this is being organized by them, not me. Please feel free to talk this up in your list to see who can come. I’ll send out a few reminders—please note she would like people to RSVP by June 25. ……………………………………………………………. Many members of the Welcome to Oz community have expressed a strong interest in getting together just to meet, share our stories and overall to realize that we are not alone. A date was selected (July 17th through 19th) and location chosen (Nashville, TN). Now all that is needed is YOU. This weekend is not intended as a singles soirée, the intent is to meet those on the boards that are going through the same life situations as you. To help develop self awareness of the issues of either staying/dealing with or leaving your BPD partner or family member and/or friend through personal interaction and discussion with your peers. With a little over two (2) months we hope you will be able to join us in Nashville for food, fun and some good conversation. If we are able to guarantee enough attendees, we might be able to get Randi Kreger, the author of “The Essential Family Guide to Borderline Personality Disorder,” “Stop Walking on Eggshells,” and “The Stop Walking on Eggshells Workbook” to join us. On Friday, July 17th at 7:30 pm, there will be an informal evening social so we can all meet, mingle and hopefully set up itineraries for the weekend. Social Location: F. s Restaurant & Jazz Bar Their Website: http://www.fscotts.com/index.html There are many events going on in Nashville over the weekend (a sample listing of available events is included in the flyer available for download at: www.bebons.com/Artwork/Nashville <http://www.bebons.com/Artwork/Nashville%20Flyer.pdf> Flyer.pdf ). Contact: at bebons@... to let us know if you will be able to make it to Nashville and if you will be attending the informal social. Your information will be kept in the strictest of confidence – we will not e-mail you directly unless you request so. We hope to see you in Nashville. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- --------------------------------------------------------
