Does anyone know of any good websites with info about things like handicapped

ramps, setting up the house, etc? I'm sure the hospital will have some info, but

I want to get a head start on it.

Hi!

I am not sure where you are located but often, there are churches and other

non-profit groups that will lend indefinitely, or even give these types of items

to those in need of them. Try United Way, Catholic Charities, etc. If you look

on line under local charities, you may find help. After you have finished with

the items you can re-donate them or pass them on to another in need. Also, the

hospital's Social Worker may have some helpful suggestions, even if your husband

has already been discharged.

This is what I did when I needed supplies for my husband after his stroke.

Medical items are very pricey and you probably won't need them for as long as

you think.

Best of luck,

Debie in Colorado
