Guest guest
, Have you ever tried kefir made from raw goat's milk? It's very good for detoxing the bad stuff and building up one's immune system. This info is from the nutritionist: For full health benefits, it is especially important to use only raw milk to make kefir because it contains unspoiled healing proteins. The " undenatured " whey proteins found only in raw milk have the ability to bind to toxic metals like mercury inside the body neutralizing them and promoting their excretion from the body. Linn > > Well then that might account for why I felt so bad when I tried Armour the first time. The Iodine in it could have been creating a detox situation! Val, do you know how much iodine is in stuff like Armour and Cytomel? Would it be enough to cause a detox? I have high levels of lead but because of my durn bladder, I can't take the usual chelating medications. Guest guest
I eat protein and cheese first. Then I do watermelon, plums, peaches, that kind of thing, after the fats and protein. -- Re: Natural Iodine For Thyroid Health My carb source is fruit. Now that would not work for a diabetic. Fruit sends me through the roof. but then I am limited to what kinds of food I can eat due ot NO TEETH too! -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/
Guest guest
How much T3 are you on now? -- Re: Natural Iodine For Thyroid Health , I have that same foot problem when I first wakeup in the AM or after sitting for a while. I have now been on T3 only for 8 weeks with no sign of it letting up yet. I sure hope that it gets better in time. You have given me encouragment. :-) I can say though the issue with being overheated is much better after switching to T3. Guest guest
Linn, I've heard of kefir...and I just did a search and found an organic farm not too far from where I live. I e-mailed them to see if they offer raw milk for sale, so we'll see. How does it taste??? I didn't realize it would detox heavy metals. I thought it was a form of probiotic. Shows you what I know! LOL Thanks a bunch Linn! I'm waiting for my Vitalzyme to arrive ;-). Be well, mwm1glm wrote: , Have you ever tried kefir made from raw goat's milk? Guest guest
, Don't think you're the long ranger there!! I didn't know that little tidbit either until a couple of days ago. I knew kefir was really good for you, particularly with raw milk, but I had no idea of the detoxing. I've never had goat's milk kefir, only cow's milk. It's very tasty. It's very similar in taste to yogurt. I'm going to order some from a nearby source that is ready made first before I invest more money on kefiring (is that a word?) equipment. I'm hoping for good results with all this new info. Linn > > Linn, > > I've heard of kefir...and I just did a search and found an organic farm not too far from where I live. Guest guest
Hi Ho Silver Linn! LOL I started looking into finding a source for raw milk and completely forgot that I'm going to have to learn how to make this stuff. Then I'm going to have to explain to my husband that it's okay that I'm drinking my science project. A kefiring we will go! I should write SeaBreeze Farms back and ask if they also sell ready-made kefir. Thanks for the suggestion. Be well, mwm1glm wrote: , Don't think you're the long ranger there!!
