It is hard, I would go so far as to say impossible, to find bread that

fits the SB guidelines - 100% whole wheat flour and at least 3 grams of

fiber per slice. The best I've found is Nature's Own Double Fiber.

It's made with whole wheat flour and has 5 g. of fiber per slice.

However, it also has high fructose corn syrup as the 5th ingredient.

I looked at a lot of loaves of bread and found it to be a trade off between

having sweeteners and having enough fiber and so decided this was the best

option, at least when it comes to supermarket bread. I could make

my own, I've done it before, but for store bought bread this was the best

I could find.

Anyone who knows of a bread that meets all the guidelines? I'd

love to know. We went to a local bakery first expecting to find just

what we needed since their reputation is for natural, healthy products.

All their ww stuff had honey in it.

milton makes a good bread it's sold at Costco

I can get it sometimes at the Rainbo Bread outlet store too

It's called Milton's Healthy Whole Wheat Grain Bread with whole Wheat flour and a hint of honey

cals 90

fat .5

no trans fat

125 sod

total carb 16

fiber 5

sugar 3

protien 4

I just noticed that brown sugar are 4th on the list barely any honey. Is this still okay? It's the only bread I found with such high fiber and I think the sugs are okay

I usually find this in the health food section in my grocery store, like Kroegers and Publix. It is in the freezer section. Whole Food markets also sell it once again in the freezer section.

I once saw the recipe online with Biblical foods. If I can locate it, I will post to the list.
