Guest guest
: When you said that you had just started taking Bextra, just out of curiosity, I looked it up on Google, and on about the fourth entry down, titled "FDA, Pharmacia update BEXTRA label with new warnings," it states that since being introduced on the market, some serious side effects to Bextra have been reported, including s syndrome, and that anyone with an allergy to sulfa drugs should not take Bextra. In the first entry of the Google search, titled "Bextra side effects law," the article noted that some reactions to Bextra can involve "various areas of the body," such as skin (your flushed face?) and cardiovascular (your fast heart rate?), and s syndrome, under which heading they included the symptoms of blistering, fever, and malaise (just feeling altogether crappy, which covers a lot of territory!). The FDA article does state that most anaphylactic (allergic) reactions occur within minutes to two to four hours after taking the drug, so this might not fit what you are experiencing, and your doctor is already watching the Bextra for effects on your liver, but I thought it wouldn't hurt to be aware of some of the later information on some of the possible side effects (though rare) of Bextra. I hope you feel better and get some answers soon. With love, Noreen for Leah (My Mito Angel) LILQT4U1984@... wrote:> > Hi,> > > > I need some help from all you experts.
