Guest guest
BTW - I often put a good dollop of yogurt in to make it creamier. in miami, there is a brand of hummous called Sabra... i believe its Israeli. its the creamiest i have ever tasted.. and i read the ingredients and instead of yoghurt.. they add mayo... i tried this at home.. using low fat mayo and it was to die for. smiles from jodi in miami "A beautiful woman is the hell of the soul, the purgatory of the purse, and the paradise of the eyes." ~~ Fontenelle
Guest guest
Thanks. I'll try this. dd for 2 tsp. They also call for a lot more garlic - 3 cloves. With the cumin and the extra garlic this is best left overnight in the fridge to make sure the flavors mix.BTW - I often put a good dollop of yogurt in to make it creamier.> I love to make hummus, but I've never added cumin -- how much do you use? dd> BTW - no cumin?> > Reminder: The South Beach Diet is not low-carb. Guest guest
REALLY??? Wow, I never would have figured that out on my own!!! Thanks !!! Kris Re: Homemade Hummous Peanut butter is an acceptable substitute for tahini. The taste is very similar. However there are some health benefits to tahini that you won't get in pb, not that pb doesn't have its benefits. BTW - no cumin?
