Dear Anar;

A place to start might be to look at some of the brochures from the

Crohn's and Colitis Foundation of America web site:

http://www.ccfa.org/research/info/brochuresintro

You might try to print out the " Parent's guide " for yourself, and

the " Teacher's gude " for your son's teachers.

Hopefully others in the support group who have young teens with

PSC/IBD can give you their insight.

Best regards;

Dave

Dear Anar, my son was also diagnosed this summer and he too has a hard

time eating and has lost a lot of weight. I know exactly how you feel.

Right now we are trying to eliminate milk products from his diet

because he was allergic to milk as a toddler and we thought since

sometimes milk products bother UC patients that it was worth a try. My

son is older than yours at 21 but probably has some of the same diet

issues. Unfortunately Bill is also allergic to fresh fruits and

vegetables. He is trying to eat smaller amounts more frequently. This

seems to help.
